Dog Chew Toy
Were you sad that we only had a cat toy and not a dog toy? Well, don't worry! Here is the completely new Dog Chew Toy!!!

Materials:
-for one toy-
Felt/Fabric of your choosing ~ 8in by 8in
Thread of your choosing
opt. squeaky toy
also: scissors, needle, pencil
On your fabric, sketch out a dog bone and cut it out twice to make 2 sides. Make sure it is big enough so that your dog actually has something to chew on!
TIP: Use different colors for each side to make it more interesting!
Step 1
Lay them on top of another and pin them down. Now you can start hand sewing them together with a blanket or straight stitch, or you can also sew them together using a sewing machine.
Leave an adequate opening for the stuffing!
If you don't know how to sew by hand but would like to learn, check out the video below or come to the Media center during your lunch period and ask anyone in the Maker Space!
Step 2
Put stuffing in the toy. I would recommend thick scrap fabric pieces, so that your dog actually has something to chew on!
I also put a squeaky toy inside it, but that is totally optional!
Sew up the rest of the toy and finish it with a strong knot.
