Paper Pumpkin

Materials:

-for one small pumpkin-

• Orange paper 5.5in by 8in(half a page)

• Green paper 2in by 2.5in

  also: scissors, hole puncher, glue/stapler, pencil

Start by cutting out equal sized strips of orange paper. For a small pumpkin we used: 6 strips 8in by .5in, but you can make them whatever size you want!

TIP: If you make more than one, use different colors for each pumpkin to make it more interesting!

Step 1

Now, lay the one of the ends of each paper strip on top of another to create a star(-ish) shape. Glue or staple them together and let them dry.

Punch holes in the ends of the paper strips

Step 2

Roll the green paper strip up tightly

Connect the ends of the orange paper(star) to make a sphere, overlay the holes in the ends and push the green paper roll in.

Reinforce with glue if necessary

TIP: you can also decorate the pumpkin with pipe cleaners
