Materials:

  • 1 cup rice

  • some fluffy stuffing

  • 2 pieces of fabric: 2in by 3in; 5in by 12.5in

Fold and press the 2in by 3in piece of fabric in half, then open the fabric and fold both edges toward the middle. Fold this in half again, press and stitch the edge.

Step 1

Fold the larger piece of fabric in half, right sides together, and clip or pin the edges.

Mark a one-inch opening from the folded side of the fabric, then stitch from the opening. closing the side, leaving the one-inch opening. Also, stitch the other side.

Step 2

One inch opening!!!!

Next, turn the fabric inside out. Draw a line from the edge of the one inch opening to the other side of the fabric and then draw another line .5in parallel to it.

Sew along the lines.

Step 3

Step 3

Line up the seams of the big opening, fold in the edges and place the small piece of sewn fabric close the edge, inside the opening. Sew the tag in but leave enough space to fill the opening with rice!

Now you can fill it with rice, approximately 3/4 cup

Then, cover the rice with stuffing, leaving enough room to sew the opening closed.

Step 4

Step 5

Now, to the small opening:

Using a paper funnel, add the rice to the skinny strip at the bottom with the one-inch opening.

Fold in the edges and sew it closed!

That's it!

Congrats on making a phone holder!!!!
